Can anybody help?

I am the biggest Disney Fan ever!

We don't really get Nicole by OPI polishes in New Zealand and I am in love with the new Tink collection.

Would anyone be able to get me two sets of this collection? I can pay for it and also swap if needed.

Please email me at lnlankshear4@hotmail.com if you can help. Thanks!

Nicole by OPI It's All About the Glam

Hi all!

Last week I started a new job as a Marketing analyst. I have never done marketing before, but my statistics skills allow me to do what I do with what ever sort of data is available.  Its long hours which I am having to get used to.  Its dark when I leave for work and well and truly dark when I arrive home each day.

Unfortunately my nails haven't taken any sort of priority these past 10 days.  My kitten has taken up residence in my light box, so I am finding it hard to take any descent photos. Sorry.  I'm also trying to convince the husband that we need a new camera - mine is now 3 years old, and I am sick of the pink reflection showing up in photos.

On another note I have a new give away coming up this week. so stay tuned for that!

It's All About the Glam is from the first set of Kardashian Kolors released by Nicole by OPI

Nicole by OPI It's All About the Glam - Natural Light

This is three coats. It is a bit thin, but another coat and it would be perfect. It is a shimmery white with a slight iridescent silver glitter that produces a "glass fleck" finish.  This is my favourite white to wear.

Spotted in NZ: New Nicole by OPI Polishes

I spotted these in Farmers Yesterday.  The display says that this mini four piece collection is called "It's all about the color", but Google doesn't tell us anything much at all about this collection.

Left to Right: A Million Sparkles, A Lit-teal bit of Love, Vio-lets Talk About Red, Shoot for the Maroon.

Nicole by OPI retails for $19.99 at Farmers and some pharmacies (usually Life pharmacies).

Nicole by OPI Kim-Pletely in Love

My wedding is now only 17 days away now and I am still trying to figure out what to wear on my nails. I want a light pink/nude colour that is jelly like and makes my nails look natural but still pretty.

I bought Kim-pletely in Love last week when I discovered the new Nicole by OPI stand at Farmers.

Nicole by OPI Kim-pletely in Love - Sunshine

Nicole by OPI Kim-pletely in Love - Shade

This is three coats. It is a gorgeous light pink with a blue shimmer running through it. It is really pretty.

I was wearing this colour for my final dress fitting on Monday. Although it is pretty and close to what I am wanting, I decided it was too pink for my wedding day. So the hunt continues.

Spotted in NZ: Kardashian Kolors

Wohooo Farmers has a whole Nicole by OPI display in store now!!!

Not only did we get the Kardashian Kolors (which I need all of), but we also got a stand with other Nicole by OPI polishes too!

Sorry about the crappy cellphone pictures. I was trying to be sneaky.

These are retailing for NZ$19.99 and at the moment Farmers has 10% off.

I picked up three of the Kardashian Kolors, A grey glitter called Follow me on Glitter, A shimmery light pink called Kim-pletely in Love and a shimmery white called It's All About The Glam. There are more from this collection I would like to pick up, but when you buy more than one at a time they add up in price quickly.

Spotted in NZ: Nicole by OPI

Due out in stores in New Zealand mid January 2012. I have never watched keeping up with the Kardashians (that is what happens when you cant afford sky TV), so I do not completely understand the love/hate people feel towards them.

I will admit that I saw both of Khloe and Kim's weddings, and I am not surprised that Kim's marriage didn't last long as I though Kris was a bit of a d**k.

Anyway I digress...

Kardashian Kolors will be available at Farmers, Salons, Life Pharmacies, Kirkcaldie & Stains nail spa, Smith & Caughey’s and Arthur Barnetts, retailing for NZ$19.90.

Kardashian Kolors Nicole by OPI Nail Polish Collection is actually inspired by six trend setting women – Kris Jenner and her five daughters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian and Kylie and Kendall Jenner. From vivid hues to dark, shimmering to soft; lots of interesting choices are available.

Kardashian Kolors Nicole by OPI Nail Polish collection includes:

All Kendall-ed Up – a fab girly shade
Sealed with a Kris – an intense dark red tone
Kim-pletely In Love – a soft, delicate pale pink hue
Khloe Had a Little Lam-Lam – an eye-catching dark emerald hue
Kourt is Red-y for a Pedi - a classy, timeless red tone
Rainbow in the S-kylie - a striking glittery shade with multicolored specks
Disco Dolls - a glittery golden hue
Listen to Your Momager! – a striking deep blue tone
Wear Something Spar-kylie - a feminine rose pink glittery shade
It’s All About the Glam – a shimmering-white glitz hue
Follow Me on Glitter – an alluring glittery deep grey
Kendall on the Katwalk – a sparkly blue-green tone
My Empire… My Rules – an ultra flatting taupe tone
Hard Kourt Fashionista - an attention-grabbing deep brown tone

Regardless of who these polishes are associated with, they are pretty colours and I can't wait to spend my Christmas voucher at Farmers and get a whole bunch of these.

This is one of four polishes from the Nicole by OPI Gossip Girl Collection that came out in 2010.

These were not available in New Zealand so thanks to smoochiefrog from Manicure Mommas for sending me this collection.

Nicole by OPI Party in the Penthouse - white light

Its a dark dusty blue silver shimmer. This is three coats. It is pretty and suitable for winter and the cold weather we are having at the moment.

Nicole by OPI My Lifesaver

Now I am the first to admit that I can not stand Justin Beiber. I thought he was a girl the first time I heard his song. And I don't like the idea of companies making money of his gullible young fan base with nail polishes, dolls and perfumes.

Neither the less Tina sent me My Lifesaver as a bonus in our latest swap.

Nicole by OPI My Lifesaver - White Light

I do like this polish as a colour and I am getting used to the interestingly shaped Nicole brushes. this is three coats. Its a nice creme that glides on really well. Dry time is standard.

Color Club Si Vous Please! over Nicole by OPI My Lifesaver - White Light

This is a great layering combination. Si Vous Please! is the blue glitter top coat from the Pardon my French collection. It sparkles like a rainbow over the top of My Lifesaver. I like it much better this way.

Yay for long weekends! We get Monday of this week for Queens Birthday holiday!

Upcoming Nail Polish Collections

Hello Ladies!!

We made it to 300 followers over the weekend so there will be a new giveaway next week.
We got back a few hours ago from the wedding over the weekend and I am so tired!

Polish brands are finally starting to realize how important the internet is and how much information gets shared this way. These companies are finally letting us know about upcoming collections sooner rather than later and not trying to stop people from sharing this information before they want them to.

So here is a post about all the upcoming collections that have been announced recently.

OPI

OPI has lots of collections coming up soon. A movie one, a brights one, a soft shades one and the next Fall/Winter collection.

OPI Femme de Cirque (Softshades) - due for release April 2011

OPI Nice Stems (Brights) - due for release June 2011

OPI Pirates of the Caribbean (Brights) - Includes Silver Shatter! - due for release May 2011

OPI Shatters!!!! - Due for release in May 2011
OPI Touring America - due out for Fall/Winter 2011 (ages away)

Color Club

Colour club has released a few extra spring/summer collections this year with the glittery Starry Temptress collection and the scented Wicked Sweet collection. These are already available in some parts of the world, and if you really cant wait (like me) you can order online at transdesign.com

Color Club Wicked Sweet (scented collection)

Color Club Starry Temptress (Glitter!)

Zoya

Zoya has some great bright summer colours coming up with the sunshine ans summertime collections. I cant wait to get some of the Sunshine collection - these are glass effect finishes with duo-chrome gold yellow flashes running through them. Zoya are also the first to bring our some bright coloured matte polishes!

China Glaze

China Glaze has a couple of collections coming out soon. After the release of their holographic Tronica collection and the spring/summer collection Anchors Away, they have a smaller summer collection coming out, and there is also a bit of information on their upcoming fall/winter collection.

Nicole by OPI One less lonely Glitter

I caved....

I feel so embarrassed. I said I would never buy any of the Justin Beiber polishes - because I am about twice the age of a standard Justin fan, and to be honest I find him annoying. The first time i heard his music I thought it was a girl.

If the glitter and the purple hadn't have won me over I would not have bought this. I found it at Life Pharmacy for $18.90, and they had a full untouched display on the counter.

Nicole by OPI One Less Lonely Glitter - inside natural light

I have never had to take so many pictures of a polish to get a good one. Its been raining for a couple of days here so this picture was taken in my bathroom. It is pretty colour accurate here. This was 4 coats. 3 would have been fine but I wanted it as dense as I could get. This is a couple of different sized purple glitter in a clear base. It is a really nice simple one colour glitter.

Nicole by OPI now has pro-wide brushes so they are easy to apply.

Did you get any of the Justin Beiber polishes? Did you avoid getting any of these polishes because of Justin?

Spotted in NZ: Nicole by OPI

The first set of Justin Beiber polishes released by Nicole by OPI have been spotted in Wellington (at Farmers on Lambton Quay) and Auckland (at Smith and Caugheys) and are selling for $19.95 each.

Picture thanks to Lisa (the other one who I will now refer to as Lisa W)
who I managed to convince to take using her iphone camera.

So far this is the only collection that has been spotted in New Zealand. At Farmers they are in the same section as the regular OPI polishes.

Luckily I am not a fan of Justin and am not hugely impressed by the polishes, so can save myself some money and start paying off my credit card.

Polish hunting in Melbourne

Chris and I booked our trip to Melbourne ages ago to see Tim Minchin play with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. If you have not herd of Tim google him and be prepared for a laugh. He is a genius.

My plan was to shop - and of course that included shopping for nail polish. I was mainly looking for Australian brands that are unavailable in New Zealand. This included Glitter Gal, Illamasqua and Ozotics pro polishes.

We flew into Melbourne on Thursday morning. Out hotel was in the middle of town and right opposite a giant Myer and David Jones.

Myer was up first. They recently opened an Illamasqua section there and this was my first stop.

Illamasqua polishes retail for AU$34 each. I bought a bunch for Lisa (the other one) but only got myself Baptiste as I was finding it hard to justify that much money on one polish.

I also found Make Up Store polishes in Myer. These are AU$26 each - so again I only brought one. Madeleine which is a nude bronze holographic polish. (Pictures of these down further)

Next door to Myer was a giant David Jones store. This had the biggest display of OPI I have ever seen in my life.
This stand was double sided and surrounded by other littler stands full of OPI. These were retailing for AU$19.95 each. They had the new Texas collection and the Katy Perry collection (although half of these colours were sold out).

In Australia the 2007 Japanese Exclusive Yokohama Collection is part of the core line.

Left to Right - Bay Bridge Sunset, Penny for your Thoughts, Baby Blue, Pinkerbell, Vintage Violet, Sweet love at the Ferris Wheel.

I brought 6 more of these and now have a couple of double ups. (If anyone is desperate to own Baby Blue or Bay Bridge Sunset send me an email).

Chadstone mall was my next stop. Here I discovered Inglot. We don't have Inglot in New Zealand. I loved the little shop they had. I got a pallet of four gorgeous shimmer eyeshadows (you get to pick your own colours) for AU$40. I also picked two polishes - a purple and a green - unfortunately these only have numbers and not names.

Left to Right - Make Up Store Madeleine, Illamasqua Baptiste, Inglot 319, Inglot 833

Lastly I found some Nicole by OPI in a random Hair Care shop in the center of town. These were $14.95 each.
Left to Right - Nail It! (Sportsgirl) Iris, Nicole by OPI Love your Life, Nicole by OPI Blue Lace, OPI Its Totally Fort Worth it, OPI Austin-tatious Turquoise

On the way through customes at the airport they had two OPI polishes for AU$25 so I picked up the only two polishes from the OPI Texas collection I was interested in.

So 15 polishes later I am a lot poorer and still don't have any Glitter Gal or Ozotic pro polishes. I tried so hard looking for them. Chris was super sick of polish hunting by the end of three days and I was getting depressed because I had run out of money and had no luck finding the Australian brands I was looking for.

Swatches will come later once I have some spare time. Hope you are all doing well!

Lots of Love
Lisa
